Heilig Hart
This corner house underwent a careful renovation, balancing the need for openness and natural light with the desire for privacy in an urban context. A central feature of the first floor is the library, positioned to overlook the street while maintaining a sense of enclosure. It acts as a spatial hinge—connecting the circulation corridor with both bedrooms and fostering visual continuity throughout the floor.
The upper level accommodates the living spaces, including an open-plan kitchen and living room, which extend onto a rooftop terrace. This elevated living arrangement enhances daylight access and offers panoramic views, transforming the top floor into a luminous, inward-oriented retreat above the city.
